Curiosity: opens the first emergency ward for cuddly toys / apre il primo pronto soccorso per i peluche

ITA

Come funziona?

Even the stuffed animals have a right to be healed: broken paws, torn ears, fallen off tails, low-cut eyes. What do when cuddly toys that we care they break? Simple, we take them to the emergency ward. It born in Naples, the first emergency ward for stuffed animals. To give life to this unusual initiative, was Emilio Francesco Borrelli, president of the "Watchdog", with Cesare Falchero, director of the zoo in Naples. The goal goes far beyond just "cure" of the cuddly toys. It is, in fact, education for recycling and reuse of old things. "Now, our children are accustomed to throw the toy that breaks down, instead, must realize that a cuddly toys broken can be repair and, therefore, re-used" explain the project leaders.

How does it work? In practice, the children who have cuddly toys in bad condition, go to the clinic where the staff make an accurate diagnosis and, then they cure the animals. The hospital stay lasts only one day and then the animal goes home completely renovated. The "doctors" are the same of the dolls Hospital by Tiziana Grassi. The children, after that their cuddly toys have been hospitalized, come undergo a little test to verify their relationship with the real animals and those who will exceed it, receive  the certificate of "animal lover" and the ten rules of the animal right. The first one reads «remember always that those who don't love animals, don't even know how to love people».
